Corps members exhausted after election rerun in Rivers state

The photos of some corp members who partook as registration agents in the weekend Rivers re-run election marred by violence and irregularities have gone viral Daily Post reports that they were seen taking refuge and sleeping in the heat of the controversial

violent election. They were pictured sleeping both on the floor and benches looking drained.

Meanwhile, the violence which took place in Rivers state over the weekend reportedly led to the death of a youth corps member. The disclosure was made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) via its official Twitter handle. It was alleged that the corps member was killed in the house of an All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Asita O. Asita.
