A 33-year-old woman was spotted wandering the streets holding a sign saying “I want to sell my body” in Yushan County, China.
Wang Ni was beaten and undressed by her husband, who suspected her of cheating and decided to teach her a lesson.
The woman was wearing only her underwear when she was walking the streets with a degrading sign, while her husband Zhang followed her in his car.
After awhile some of the conscious citizens called the police officers who took the crying woman to the station and summoned Zhang for questioning. The investigation revealed that incident occured after Zhang spent an evening drinking with his friends who spread rumours about his wife cheating on him.

According to police, the young woman was not unfaithful and Zhang’s friends simply slandered her on purpose. Besides, the couple had serious conflicts because of having only daughters and no sons. Zhang later apologised to Wang and wrote a formal apology letter in a local newspaper.
