What can a monk be doing with a prostitute; it can either be a prayer session or a deliverance service. But this seems not to be the case with these two.
Police in Japan have arrested a 29-year-old Buddist monk, Yoshinori Kurumi, from Tokushima City in connection to the murder of a 37-year-old woman.
The monk who was said to be an acquaintance of the deceased has been arrested and charge for the murder of Kuroda whom he claimed did not satisfy him sexually.
Late Kuroda was said to be a nail artist and according to Kurumi, she also worked part-time in the ‘fuzoku’ (sex-related) trade.
“She worked part-time in the fuzoku (sex-related) trade, and he was her customer; that’s how they became acquainted. On several occasions, he stalked her. He posted defamatory messages on adult-service promotion sites, describing her quality of service as bad,” an investigator said.
It was the posts and surveillance camera footage that eventually lead the police to Kurumi.
It was alleged that the victim had met the Monk during her work as a prostitute after which the monk was seen on several occasions stalking her.
On getting to her apartment, the suspect posed as a delivery man. He attached a delivery slip to a cardboard box that concealed a survival knife, the weapon he used to carry out the dastardly crime.
“He said that he carried her mobile phone and the knife used to kill Kuroda from the crime scene and threw them ‘into the sea’,” the investigator said.

Kurumi has admitted to killing Kuroda. “I stabbed her head with a knife,” the suspect is quoted by police
The investigator said given all of the wounds on the body, it seems that the perpetrator must have held tremendous resentment for the victim.
