Twelve Maiduguri soldiers sentenced to death

Should The Convicted Maiduguri 12 Be Killed?

Mutiny-trialYesterday, 12 Nigerians soldiers were sentenced to death by a court martial for their part in the mutiny that took place in Maiduguri, Borno State, when they protested internal sabotage in the war against Boko Haram, inadequate motivation, poor welfare and deliberate setting them up to be ambushed by the insurgents by their commanders.

These angry soldiers whose colleagues were killed by the sect in an ambush allegedly set up by their superiors, took the laws into their hands and shot at the vehicle of their GOC.
Many Nigerians and human rights activists have come out to beg the military authorities and the federal government to spare the lives of the soldiers as killing them will further dampen the morale of other soldiers in the war against insurgents.
On Morning Teaser Today, we ask: do you think the convicted soldiers should bee killed or pardoned taking into consideration the circumstances that led to their revolt?
