A driver picked the right day to have his dash cam switched on as he cruised through the streets of southern California.
The man slowed down as he approached a busy intersection when he saw an almost unbelievable sight ahead.
It wasn’t a bird but it WAS a plane - the single-engine aircraft sped across the intersection dangerously close to unsuspecting drivers.
The Piper Cherokee plane had an Orange Coast college student and flight instructor on board.
The jibes come as another pilot survived a crash landing England.
Eye-witnesses said the WWI-style plane looked as if it was about to crash on the fifth green at Crosland Heath Golf Club in Huddersfield.
But at the last second it veered away and came down on land close to the 16th fairway.
Golfers dropped their clubs and rushed to help the pilot, a man in his 50s, who was able to climb out of the cockpit unaided.
