Two kids arrested by the police in connection to the Yola explosionshave narrated how they were recruited by Boko Haram and paid N2,500 to commit the crimes.
The kids reportedly told police officers that an unknown man paid them N2,500 to carry out a bomb attack on Thursday in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State.

Adamawa Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Luka Ikpi, informed journalists of the attacks saying the explosion extended to the state headquarters of the FRSC, which made the  FRSC direct its its intelligence officers to the scene of the incident which was opposite the command.
Punch quotes him saying, “When I heard the loud bang, I had to run out of my office to inquire what really happened.”
The bombs on Thursday at the Kofare area of Yola which exploded close to a mechanic workshop along Numan Road, was in possession of four children, Punch online gathered from a resident of the state, Abraham Tunoh.

Another contributor, a police officer, said two of the arrested kids messengers said: “An unknown person gave us N2,500 to drop the explosive at the barracks,”during interrogation.
The boys  (9 and 15 years old) said the bag containing the explosive was too heavy to carry, which made them sell it to a dustbin scavenger, who they later at the nearby mechanic workshop.
The dustbin scavenger has however been arrested and he told police that during the process of bargaining with the kids for the cost of the containers, he noticing smoke coming from it and before he could ask of its contents, it exploded, shattering his legs and injuring two of the children.
He said two of the kids were arrested while the other two were able to flee.
