Close pals in the Nigerian music industry, the YBNL Nation boss Olamide and the Penthauze front man Phyno, have taken their alliance to the UK. The duo started the partnership after the release of Phyno’s single “Ghost Mode” that featured Olamide and the rest is history.
Ever since Ghost Mode, Olamide and Phyno have been seen as the new phase of indigenous rap in Nigeria, with a lovely blend of the Yoruba and Igbo languages. They’ve dropped several other hits together and even went further to produce the first collabo rap album, “2Kings”, in the history of the Nigerian music industry.
They’ve been seen together at shows, events, performed together and signed endorsements with the same brands. The duo posted pictures on their Instagram handles lounging in the UK and leaving fans guessing what they are cooking up again.
