Glo Premier League: Enyimba visits Dolphins in a tough week 9 tie

Enyimba FC of Aba would lock horns with Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt in a week nine tie of the 2014/2015 Globacom Premier League.
The encounter, which is being described by some football fans as explosive, will come up on May 17 at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Enyimba would be looking for an away win as they currently sit in the eighth position after accumulating 12 points from eight matches.

The team’s last five encounters in the season have seen them having a 0-0 draw at home with Giwa FC of Jos and a 3-2 win at home against Sharks FC of Port Harcourt.
The Aba Millionaires, as Enyimba is called, lost 0-2 to Ifeanyi Uba FC and 0-1 away to Kano Pillars in away matches.
However, they won 1-0 against Taraba FC in Janlingo.
Khadri Ikhana, the coach of Enyimba, needs to motivate his players towards winning at Port Harcourt after week eight’s 2-2 draw against Giwa at home.
Enyimba will be seeking for first away win in the season.
“ I have spoken to my players and they have promised an improved outing against Dolphins in Port Harcourt, we intend to win the game,” he said.
The Aba boys are currently occupying 14th position in the league, with two wins, two draws and three losses.
Dolphins in their last five league matches played a 2-2 draw away against Bayelsa United, lost 0-2 away to Akwa United and a 1-2 loss to Sunshine Stars in Akure.
The team recorded a 1-0 win at home against Rangers and a 2-0 win at home over Lobi Stars.
Stanley Eguma, the coach of Dolphins would be looking forward to a difficult home game against the three time champions Enyimba.
However, the coach would be counting on the experience of his players to secure a win on Sunday.
On a head to head basis, in their last five encounters, Enyimba have won two matches at home drawn three away with Dolphins.
Dolphins, however, have failed to win both home and away against Enyimba.
The team had lost two away matches and garnered three draws at home against the Aba boys.
In the 2011/12 season, Dolphins played a 1-1 draw with Enyimba at home, in 2012/13 season Enyimba beat Dolphins 2-0 at home in that same season Dolphins obtained a 0-0 draw at home in Aba.
In the 2013/14 season, Enyimba again defeated Dolphins 1-0 at home while in the second encounter of the season at Port Harcourt, Dolphins secured a 1-1 draw against Enyimba.
Although, the odds are in favor of Enyimba, but the match promises to be exciting.
The other matches in the week seven Ifeanyi Uba (H) vs. Sharks , El Kanemi Warriors (H) vs. Bayelsa United, Wikki Tourist (H) vs. Lobi Stars.
Others are Heartland (H) vs. Akwa United, Shooting Stars FC (H) vs. Enugu Rangers, Nasarawa United FC (H) vs. Sunshine Stars FC.
Also, Kwara United (H) vs. Warri Wolves and Abia Warriors (H) vs. Kano Pillars. (NAN)
