Man kills girlfriend over alleged gonorrhea infection

– A 31-year-old man has allegedly killed his girlfriend in a hotel room in Minna, Niger state

 – The suspect, a 27-year old graduate of chemistry from Ambrose Ali University had hoodwinked her parents that she was going to collect her NYSC call up letter from the school.



Ekanem Ikot, a 31-year-old man has allegedly killed his 27-year-old girlfriend, Edith Owei in a hotel room for allegedly infecting him with gonorrhea. Leadership reports that the incident which occurred on Monday, March 7, attracted persons to the hotel room after the suspect fled leaving the victim lifeless on the ground. 
It was gathered that the victim, a graduate from the department of chemistry, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma had told her parents she was going to collect her NYSC call-up letter from the institution. 
Sources said the suspect and victim were in a relationship that was almost six months old before the sad incident. Meanwhile, a seven-year-old girl has caused a stir when she accused her father, Prophet Benjamin Bernard of having carnal knowledge of her. 
The 41 year old cleric who is one of the presiding pastors of Destiny Explosion Ministry located in Benin City after the minor made the accusation.
