Davido bashes music critic for critiquing Mayorkun's success

Nigerian music critic and entertainment writer Osagie Alonge has gotten some backlashes from Davido for the former’s comments on the HKN music label, the new Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) singer Mayorkun and the recent success of the single Eleko.



On May 4, Osagie and his team released a video in which he analysed the current trends in the new DMW label as well as the fact that Davido’s camp bought the views for Mayorkun’s Eleko on Youtube hereby putting the relatively unknown artiste under pressure. Osagie also gave his candid opinions on B-Red, Shina Rambo and Davido’s music managerial policies, adding that the Aye singer needs some supports himself to stay on top of his game given the new global platform he is on.

But Davido who is clearly having none of that has fired back with expletives via his Twitter account. In a set of tweets, the outspoken entertainer slammed the critic for his comments on the new singer and went on to issue a subtle, thinly-veiled threat:
