Police Confirms Kidnap Of 4-Year-Old School Girl

The steady occurrence of child kidnapping has continued to trounce the outgoing government and now acts as a wake-up call for the incoming government.
On the night of 14–15 April 2014, 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. Responsibility for the kidnappings was claimed by Boko Haram, an Islamic Jihadist and terrorist organization based in northeast Nigeria.

Till this very moment, the whereabouts of these girls hasn’t been ascertained.
In a recent development, the Nasarawa State Police Command on Wednesday has confirmed the abduction of a four-year-old girl at her school in Masaka, Nasarawa State.
This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP. Ismaila Umar-Noman, in a statement given to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia.
According to ASP Umar-Noman, the abductors on Friday kidnapped the little girl from her school, Pilot Science School, Masaka in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He revealed that the kidnappers took away the child, while she was playing with other kids during break at the school premises.
It explained that at the time the girl was taken away, she was wearing a yellow T-shirt bearing the name of her school.
ASP Umar-Noman appealed to anyone with information on the girl to contact the nearest police station or call the command on: 081-269-26-80.
Recently, the Kwara state police command arrested a 70-year-old Zenab Alabi, for allegedly kidnapping a three-year-old girl, Fatiah Mustapha.
Just before then, officials of the Kano state police command arrested three suspects in connection with the kidnapping of a 4-year-old boy, Umar Aminu Ibrahim.
