The news that the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, left Abuja with controversial minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, caused a new wave of controversies among Nigerians.
Diezani Alison-Madueke, is the first Nigerian petroleum minister to be elected the president of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and the Minister for Petroleum.
Her name has been received with strong connection with corrupt practices.
Lamido Sanusi, the former CBN governor, accused her of pocketing for $20 billion oil money.
Meanwhile, Federal Government has recently released full report on missing money.
Buhari is famous for his strong anti-corruption position.
Nigerians, who wondered what made Buhari board with controversial minister, supposed that Diezani is seeking forgiveness.
Au Ga the student from Akwa-Ibom said: “Diezani is so desperate to meet Buhari, she went lobbying Abdussalami to lead her in meeting Buhari. And now she changes her travelling arrangements just for a chance to meet Buhari.”
“Buhari your one leg is in the London hospital while the other leg is in Nigeria. Please it’s how you will rule us. Please it is better you resign now you are still alive,” added Pastor O. Emmanuel.
Wilberforce Captain on his own turn stated: The north should answer this question. Is Buhari the God of almighty? Buhari will disappoint Nigerians. Is it important for Buhari to take London as his regular bus stop to visit and complain of our Nigerian issues? That is to show that Buhari cannot rule this country with his sense of ability without ex-official of UK Tony Blair.”
Godfrey Olokpo noted that politicians can never be trusted: “See GMB can’t even his close party men. There are all in the dark of what Buhari will do next.”
“That’s how she has been so desperate to meet with GMB since he won the election. God help her!” supposes Torbem Favour.
“Does it mean when you hear Buhari visiting the London he is on medical ground? Why are you people so wicked to the extent of seeing Buhari as ill health person? What of the wife of President Jonathan who had undergone 12 surgeries within a month after the PDP defeat, who is healthier between Buhari and Mama peace? I understood your plight because your zone has been relinquishing the power,” outrages Akeem Adebowale Adelani.
