The president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari jets on a British Airways to London with controversial Diezani Alison-Madueke, Minister of Petroleum Resources today, May 22.
Sahara Reporters says sources claimed that Buhari was on a planned trip.

Several assistants and close allies of the president-elect said they were surprised to get to know of the trip since they were with him till 7PM last night briefly after he arrived from his hometown, Duara.
Another source inside Buhari’s family added that he was traveling to London for the weekend and is likely to return to in Nigeria on Tuesday in time for the inauguration ceremony.
Minister of Petroleum Resources had been owed to travel to the UK next week Tuesday according to a source, meanwhile upon learning that the president-elect was traveling to London, she called on the airline to book her on the same flight as Buhari so that she could have a chance to talk directly to him.
The British Airways flight left Abuja this morning at 9:00am Nigerian time.
There were controversies over the previous Buhari’s trip to London after the postponement of the general elections.
Buhari said he went to rest because of intense presidential campaign. He also visited key members of the Royal Institute of International Affair, Chatham House.
Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party, the party of his opponent in the elections, claimed that Buhari left Abuja to receive treatment in the UK hospital because of his age.
It would be recalled that Diezani popularity fell after Lamido Sanusi, the former CBN governor, blamed the NNPC for not being able to account for$20 billion oil money.
Despite the public outrage, Alison-Madueke denied to duly explain the situation.
