How Davido, Yemi Alade, stole the show at Closeup Cupid games

Davido1IT was indeed, a night of fun, excitement and merriment at the prestigious Zumia Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites penultimate Saturday, as Nigerian born multi-award winning singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido and Johnny crooner, Yemi Alade mounted the stage and thrilled numerous fans with amazing performances. The event was the grand finale of Closeup Cupid games.
It was a platform where young individuals were given the opportunity to confidently express the extent they would go for love by spinning the “Closeup tube” and the top five were shortlisted from the huge entries received across the country.
During the campaign, the weekly winners were rewarded with amazing prizes like beats by Dre headphones and a valentine evening with the celebrity himself, Davido. The show which kicked off at about 7:30pm was memorable.
Anchored by popular OAP, Toke Makinwa and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, guests at the ball party were thrilled to a great time of fun and excitement with star performances from other artistes like, Bez and Adekunle Gold. Dance Na The Main Thing (DNMT) dance crew also wowed the audience with their acrobatic dance steps. The top three winners were elated as they were all beaming with smiles. Mr Samuel Adekambi, who rode home the grand prize of a power bike, revealed that he is so pleased with the brand for giving him such a great opportunity.
“ Winning the grand prize was a dream come true”. He said. Hyacinth West the (1st) runner up got a pair of personalized MacBook Air Notepads while Deborah Jesunami, (2nd) runner up took home personalized Ipads. Speaking at the event, Brand Building Director Oral and Personal Care Unilever Nigeria Plc, David Okeme stated that Closeup is happy to be associated with such a competition, as it is an engagement platform for young adults to connect and show their loved ones how much they care, especially at valentine.
