Kiss Daniels has one of the biggest songs on the streets of Lagos at the moment. Since its release in September of 2014, Kiss Daniel’s hit single “Woju” has become a street anthem on radio and on the streets of Lagos.
Many Lagosian have the song on their phones or as their caller-back ringtone. The beauty of the song is that it catches you from get go especially with the sexy punch line “No be you I carry come, but na you I carry go…” The Afropop jam is something like a love song sprinkled with flirtatious swag.
The song continues to spread across the country and has officially crossed the boundaries of Nigeria as it is already receiving heavy rotation on radio and in the clubs as far as Ghana, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and gaining momentum in the United Kingdom, Canada and United States.
It’s easy to say that “Woju” is the hit song that will usher out 2014.
Kiss is not new to the game, before “Woju” his first officially single was titled "Shoye" which dropped on1st of May his birthday and as a gift from his record label G-Worldwide Entertainment. “Shoye” received a lot positive response from music lovers and an eclectic video gave the song a nice feel to a good song.
