WARRI—SPECIAL Assistant to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on Special Duties, Mr. Matthew Opuoru, has said that the huge investment in the agricultural sector and reasonable improvement in the internally generated revenue were two key areas the governor was striving to achieve with his Delta Beyond Oil agenda.
The Okere-Urhobo born Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain in Warri South Local Government Area, who spoke with Vanguard at Okere-Urhobo Community Development Committee Secretariat, Otor-Orere, shortly after the PDP councilllorship primaries for Okumagba1 Ward 9, Otor-Orere Ward 8 and two other wards, noted that the Governor Uduaghan’s administration has balanced the state budget against any possible deficit.
Opuoru said the governor has done a lot in the areas of education, construction of massive roads and bridges and other forms of infrastructural development across Warri, Asaba, Effurun and other cities in the state.
