Story: Patsy, 60, from the US was left red-faced when she accidentally added John Neeley, 61, on Facebook thinking he was somebody she???d gone to school with. In reality, he was a complete stranger who???d gone to a school of the same name 400 miles away. However, the pair started to message one another anyway and, realising they had a spark between them, were soon talking every day. After meeting twice in person, John asked Patsy to marry him - which she did, in November 2014
Patsy Sutton and John Neeley are now happily married
A woman fall in love and married a stranger after she accidentally added him as a friend on Facebook.
Patsy Sutton, 60, started communicating with John Neeley, 61, after she mistakenly took him for her former classmate.
But it turned out that John was actually his namesake and also attended a school that coincidentally had the same name. Despite the mistake the duo continued to chat and after awhile they met in person, fall in love and even get married.
Patsy recalled the details of their unbelievable romantic story: “John was always such a gentleman. He’d like and comment on my posts and tell me I was beautiful. We began to talk more and more.
From then on, we would talk all day and into the night. I lived with my youngest daughter at the time, and she would come into my room sometimes at one or two in the morning and say, “Stop that giggling!”

John was always such a gentleman
My grandson even told me to ask John on a date as he noticed we were always messaging. I wasn’t nervous at all the first time I spoke to him, we’d become such good friends that we could talk about anything.
When I first saw John in person we couldn’t stop hugging and kissing. People were walking and driving by but we just stood there and looked at each other for what seemed like hours.

The duo live together with their 12 dogs in Georgia
I cried when he had to leave. I was floored when he asked me to marry him, it was so romantic. We have a wonderful life together. Every day, I think, this is where I belong. He is everything I ever prayed for – and I owe it all to an accidental Facebook add.”
Now Patsy and John are happily married and live together with their 12 dogs in Georgia, USA.
