Aisha Buhari has followed in the footsteps of former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar to send condolences to victims of Yola bomb blast.
Represented by Dr. Zainab Nyako, the First Lady condemned the incident and wished the victims speedy recovery in a visit to the Specialist Hospital and Federal Medical centre, Yola where they are presently receiving treatement.
“The First Lady said I should tell you that she was deeply touched by this bomb incident and other related killings in neighbouring states, and will continue to pray for a speedy and lasting solution”.
It was gathered that the chief medical director at the hospital, Dr. Bala Saidu, and the head, clinical services, Federal Medical Centre, Dr. Bemi Kala, received the First Lady’s representative in their hospitals.
They acknowledged the First Lady for her concern and asked for more support from individuals and voluntary organisations.
Also speaking, a victim at the Federal Medical Centre, Mallam Abdulkadir Mohammed, thanked the First Lady and all those that have been supporting them at this trying moment.
