Jay Z and Beyonce’s tenure as the highest paid celebrity couple has ended as the entertainment world welcomes a new money bag couple.
According to a new list released by Forbes, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have overtaken the hiphop duo as the highest paid celebrity couple. The report says Swift and Harris’s net worth is $146 million a year.
The new world no1 couple’s rise was linked to successful careers and individual endorsement deals they had.
Harris is a spokesperson for Sol Republic and Giorgio Armani; he also does the Las Vegaz residency at Caesar’s Palace.
Forbes published the “world’s highest paid celebrities” as a part of their rollout of the upcoming annual Celebrity 100, which will be published June 29. On this year’s list, the only yardstick Forbes takes into consideration for the world’s highest-paid celebrities ranking is annual income.
And for Bey and Jay Fans, the power couple are not far behind as they sit comfortably in 2nd position with a combined annual income of $110.5 million.
About a month ago, the Nigerian female singer, Seyi Shay told of her relationship with Beyonce’s father while she was in the United States.
