Anti ‘Dumsor’ campaigner actress Yvonne Nelson, has responded to reports that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has disconnected her service for non payment.
The actress posted a social media response to the now viral story by not only denying and dismissing it but also saying a brief prayer for herself and the bloggers whose names she didn’t mention.
“Thank you God for all your blessings… blessing me to bless bloggers with content for their daily bread. Especially false stories…” The actress twitted Sunday.
The actress has come under intense electronic-harassment since leading the “Dumsormuststop” vigil including a call from an anonymous person who called her a prostitute.
Reasons giving by some who have criticize her following the vigil was that she was politicizing a national issue and seeking to gain attention from it.
The actress with over a million Facebook like and fans denied that she led the vigil for political reasons.
She said she led the vigil because she felt compelled to stand up for the millions of the voiceless Ghanaians who suffer as a result of the constant power outages in the country.
